Which surfaces are suited for iron-on badges?

The badges can be ironed onto most fabrics that can withstand the heat of a hot dry iron (e.g. cotton, linen,…). Do not use non-iron fabrics with low melting points such as highly elastic fabrics, nylon, vinyl, leather, etc.

What type of garments can I iron my badges onto?

The possibilities are endless: denim, shirts, sweaters, jackets, bags, backpacks, caps, hats, … And if you can’t iron them then just sew them on!

Can the iron-on badges be washed?

Yes. This means that our badges are washable up to 40°C. You can even put them in the dryer (low to medium heat). However, it’s important to turn your garment inside out.

Where can I find instructions on how to apply?

You can find a manual in different languages inside the packaging.

How do I prepare my garment?

Make sure your garment has been freshly laundered and that it’s clear of all fabric softeners. These can inhibit the adhesive from bonding with the fibres of your garment.

The iron-on badge isn't properly attached. What should I do?

The most common cause of badges coming of (partly or in its entirety) is due to the melting point of the glue. In order to be bonded with the fibres of your garment, the adhesive should be completely melted. This can take longer if your garment is heavily padded or if you use a heavy-weight fabric. Turn up the temperature of the iron (position cotton), and iron the back of the garment during 30 seconds while pressing firmly. When pressing your iron-on badge, lift the iron up and down once in a while to prevent the fabric from burning. Repeat until the glue dissolves and leave to cool.

I have washed my garment and the badge seems to come of partly. Now what?

It’s because the adhesive wasn’t completely melted. Repeat the ironing process.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Registration is needed if you would like to place an order on our webshop. This allows us to provide you with the best service possible. Once an order is placed you can also get more information about the order on ‘My Account’ page.

Can I change my personal information?

Yes, you can edit your personal information by logging in to your account. You can then modify your billing and shipping addresses, name, e-mail and password.

Can I delete my account?

Of course. Just send us a request to hello[at]rocherouge.com.

I've forgotten my password

No need to worry. You can retrieve your password by going to the ‘My Account’ page and clicking on the ‘Lost Password?’ link.

Shipping

How long does it take before I receive my order?

Normally, it takes only a few hours to prepare an order for shipping. Delivery occurs by Bpost and usually takes 2 to 5 working days for most countries in the European Union, and between 5 to 10 working days for countries outside of the European Union. If you live in Belgium the order will be delivered within 2 working days.

Please be advised that we can’t be held liable for any delays caused by unforeseen factors or customs delays if shipped to countries from outside of the European Union.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are automatically calculated by our system on checkout. The final costs will be displayed before you validate your order.

Orders shipped outside of the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. We have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom (UK), United States (US), Venezuela.

Can I track my order?

Once the order is shipped, we’ll send you the shipping confirmation which includes the tracking information. The order can then be tracked on the website of Bpost.

Payment

Which payment methods are available?

We allow payments by bank transfer, Credit Card (PayPal), iDeal, Visa/Mastercard, SOFORT banking, Belfius Direct Net and PayPal. Payments by iDeal, Visa/Mastercard, Bancontact/MisterCash, SOFORT banking, Belfius Direct Net are handled by Mollie B.V.

Is it possible to make a purchase in other currencies?

Currently, the prices are only displayed in EUR because we are based in Belgium. We plan on adding an option to shop in foreign currencies in the near future.

However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t place an order since the total amount will be converted from your currency into EUR by your financial institution using the applicable rate on the date that the transaction is debited to your account.

What about duties and taxes?

Orders shipped outside of the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. Those charges including charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be. We advise you to contact your local customs office for more information.

When will my payment for an order be deducted from my banking account?

This will happen once you’ve submitted an order through our webshop and completed the payment process.

Is paying online secure?

Our online payments are processed using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) which means that your payment data is encrypted and keeps it from being intercepted.

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return an item?

We hope that you are satisfied with our products. However, you have the possibility to cancel your purchase and return the products after giving us formal written notice of return by mail or e-mail (hello[at]rocherouge.com) within 14 days following the date of delivery. Please also include the order number and the reason why you would like to return the product in the written request.

Only products that are returned unused, undamaged in their original packaging, along with all accessories, instructions and invoice or sales receipt can be returned.

You have no later than 14 calendar days from the day that we have been notified of your decision to return us the products.

The direct costs for returning the products shall be borne by you as customer. You are also responsible for the product until it reaches us again, so please make sure it won’t get damaged during shipping.

If the returned product is reduced in value in any way, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or to claim partial repayment as a compensation for each depreciation in value.

Will I be refunded the full value of my order?

We will refund you the value of the returned products at the time of purchase including the original standard shipping cost. This refund will be processed within 14 calendar days starting from the date we have received the returned products. We shall repay you using the same means of payment as was used in the initial transaction, unless you explicitly agreed otherwise. In any case, you won’t be charged any costs in connection with such repayment.

If the returned product is reduced in value in any way, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or to claim partial repayment as a compensation for each depreciation in value.

Can I get a refund for custom-made items?

Unfortunately, due to the specific nature of the custom-made product it’s not possible to return the product and receive a refund.

Can I get a refund for duties and taxes?

Customs duties and sales taxes levied by countries outside the European Union, are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these costs by contacting your local customs office.

Can I exchange a product I purchased?

You can exchange a product you purchased from our webshop within 14 days following the date of delivery. Just send us an exchange request to hello[at]rocherouge.com containing the order number. The product should be returned within 14 days after we’ve confirmed the exchange.

You are responsible for the product until it reaches us again, so please make sure it won’t get damaged during shipping.

Once we received the product we’ll send you a new one free of charge.

The product should be unused, undamaged in their original packaging, along with all accessories, instructions and invoice or sales receipt. Returns that are damaged may not be accepted and may be sent back (at your expense) and a refund can be refused.
